Rental chalet
Located in «Crest-Voland» a French ski resort connected to «Megeve» (a famous luxury ski resort), this is the rental part of the main 300m² wooden chalet you will find in this other article.
This project was taken on at the same time as construction. The advantage of working on a project under construction is the flexibility of the project. You can do almost anything you want and adapt the layout according to constraints and needs.
This rental part is composed of 1 double bedroom and a dormitory (sleeps six in total). The clients wanted to keep the same spirit as the main chalet: a very warm atmosphere, mixing rustic and modern, with a lower budget.
The use of aged wood on the walls, ceilings, and floors creates the rustic atmosphere, and the soft-colored refined furniture modernizes and brightens the space.
The warm side of the chalet is brought mainly by the wood, but also by the selection of welcoming and comfortable furniture with warm materials and soft colors that create a cozy cocoon where it is nice to warm up in winter.
The decoration is minimal since the wood is such a dominant element in the space. The furniture is carefully selected from partner suppliers (so that the promoter benefits from professional prices) or custom-made to create elements perfectly suited to the space.
